windows media player 10

I installed Windows Media Player 10 on my computer. Now
when I try to open the media player I get an error message
that reads, " An internal application error has occurred".
I have tried the rollback option, tried reinstalling both
Media Player 9 & 10 and even tried system restore option
and still get the error message. Got any ideas?
