Media Player Forum

1. The forum is broken and won't take any posts. Obviously not a problem from
my end as I can post here OK.

2. I can't get anything to play with media player.

I get directed to this page...

I've uninstalled the player and downloaded a fresh copy and installed that.
I've updated Direct X.

The whole system here is totally up to date so I wasn't really expecting
this would help.

I can play files in iTunes and RealPlayer.

It's not an ID3 tag.

Any clues?

OH it's an id10t error in the brain of whoever wrote the installer.

Run this if you have the problem

regsvr32 C:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\quartz.dll
