Windows Media Encoder??

I found this neat program called Windows Media Encoder that allows recording
Audio to your PC in the WMA format. I have successfully recorded from my
Cassette tape deck with some amazing quality. However, there are so many
settings. Any one out there familiar enough with the settings of this
program to know how to get the best sound in a reasonably small file. Any
suggestions would be helpful. Thank you very much for any help.

Sorry, I posted here not knowing there was a specific group dealing with
these issues. Nevertheless, any help here would be appreciated.
