Probably not, ME is in the "end of lifecycle", use this instead.

Probably not, ME is in the "end of lifecycle", use this instead.

Actually Windows ME's lifecycle died back on 31-Dec-2003. All you get
now from Microsoft is their extended support (which means you pay big
bucks so maybe just hire a local contractor or computer shop).

May I suggest going to http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/default.mspx
for best practices. Be sure to watch the video!
There are other freeware/shareware scanners out there that will work on
Win98 & ME
systems. Thinking Spybot and Adaware just to name two.
