Windows Mail Storage

I am using Window's Mail because Outlook did not come with my Office Suite.
All of my saved emails from February are now gone. Does Window Mail only keep
the files for 1 month like my Verizon mail account? Please advise me where I
can get an email service that will keep my emails for as long as I want them.

Does Windows Mail keep email longer than 1 month? I do not really want to
use Google mail and I do not understand Gmail. I am totally dependent on
Outlook Express.

Windows Mail will keep email as long as you want it to. It has no archive
function AFAIK...
 
Thanks Gordon. I though it should but mine deleted my February emails. So
what do I need to change? Where do I look? All of my February emails are gone
from Windows Mail. I like the format but I have set up folders to keep emails
for awhile.
