Windows mail setup

Okay, I seriously need some help. I got a new computer last year and it has
Windows vista. That has Windows mail. My ISP is verizon but I don't have an
email aaccount for verizon. The email address I get by defaut on Windows mail
is Yahoo.com. I have no idea what the POP3 and SMTP are for my Windows mail
account. I tried incoming.verizon.net which is verizon's POP3 and
outgoing.verizon.net which is verizon's SMTP but nothing works. Some retarded
error always comes up. This is the latest one:
Subject 'blood', Account: 'incoming.verizon.net', Server:
'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 SIZE 20971520',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D
from when I sent an email. I seriously need some help with this. Someone
help please! :)

If you don't have a Verizon email account, then you can't use the Verizon
email servers until you do.

Do you have an email account with someone? Is it Yahoo?
If it is with Yahoo, is it the free webmail account, or the Plus account,
which can access POP email?

Then you need to ask Verizon what your email address there is. Also,
your message looks like you you be sending a message with an
attachment that makes it too large for Verizon's size limit on outgoing
messages, and port 25 and SSL are seldom used together.

Check your other settings:

You can have more than one email account under Windows
Mail, but the incoming mail from all of them will go into the
same Inbox.

If you want to use a yahoo.com address under Windows Mail,
you need to either pay extra or install YPOPs:

Your error message is due to the fact that you have enabled the SSL
option for a server that does not recognize that option.

If you switch to the newer Windows Live Mail, then you can access your
Hotmail account.
If you are in the US, and have the free Yahoo account, then you'll have to
upgrade to the Mail Plus! ($20/yr) to get access to POP email. Or keep
accessing it with a web browser.
