Windows mail sending and receiving problems

Can anyone help. I am using Windows mail, worked OK on start up but now I
canot send or receive mail. Sent mails just sit in my outbox but I am able to
delete them so it's not the issue that's widely reported with corrupt mails
blocking other sent mail. My Outbox currently shows 5 mails in it but it's
actually empty.

Grateful if anyone can help.

Cheers

Be aware that Windows Live is a BETA Test system. If you are not emotionally
or technically ready to handle Beta test products, leave it alone.

Technically you are correct, Windows Live Mail is in beta.
Those who need ultimate stability should stick with Outlook or Thunderbird.
OTOH, I've found WLM to be more stable than WM.

Thanks for the information , happy to try a beta for now. Wonder why Windows
Mail was rolled out in it's current defective state? Outlook Express was OK
for me.

Anyway, onwards and upwards!
