Please help!
Whenever I try to send an attachment from
windows mail, it parses the attachment into
multiple files that get sent.

I've looked for any properties to change but
cannot find anything related. I've tried "send to"
from the picture or file as well. It does send
less files when I do this.

I don't want to have manually compress (zip or
whatever) and attachment every time I send.

Any infor would be appreciated.

What do you mean by " .... it parses attachment into multiple files ..... "
???
Do you mean the attachment got " split " apart, and it was sent section by
section?
If yes, try this :
Tools > Accounts > your account > Properties >Advanced. Under Sending
heading, UN-check the box that says " Break apart messages larger than ....
" > OK

Found the answer further
down in the list. Read in text format.

Trouble is now I have to manually tell
each email from the "View" menu to
"Read in HTML..." if I want to see all
the pretty pictures embedded from companies
I subscribe to. Or so it seems.

Yes that is what I meant--and that worked. You da "man."
THANK YOU.

However,
now it embeds the attachment picture in the actual email.

No, you don't have to do it manually each time.....
Tools > Options > Read. UN-check the box that says " Read all messages in
plain text " > OK
You only have to do it once.
However, seems to me you are NOT using Windows Vista. Is it XP or Outlook
Express ?

Windows Mail does not "embed" a picture attachment, but like most
other email client programs it decides to show attached pictures
immediately after the body text in the email.
