Windows Mail erases all of the messages from the source inbox?

How do I stop windows mail from deleting the inbox where it grabs my email
from?

I'm sure you know what I mean but just in case..

When windows mail fetches my messages they get erased from my go daddy
email. Is there a way that windows could leave my "real" inbox alone and
just grab the messages?

With POP3, most servers will permit that.
Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove from server after [xx] days
