no messages in my old inbox

i have earthlink and when i got windows mail, it erased all of my messages
from my earthlink inbox, however they did appear in my windows mail inbox,
but i still would like to use my earthlink account as well like when i'm at
work and things like that...please help, how do i keep messages in both
places or at least in my earthlink inbox. thank you

To fix that problem, go to Tools, Accounts, select your mail account,
Properties, Advanced, select "Leave a copy of messages on server."

Unfortunately there is no easy way to return messages already downloaded
to the server.
