windows mail can send not receive

My husband is having trouble with his e-mail. It has worked fine until
recently. I have browsed the posts here, downloaded the "fix" and checked
settings. I am able to send e-mail, but now am not receiving any... I'm
not getting error messages at this moment - just not able to receive after
testing several times. I would appreciate any help you might offer.

I looked up setting on home computer (this one is a laptop) and changed the
incoming to 110 and outgoing to 587 and I got this massage
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be

problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the

the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

open the Windows Address Book. Unable to find WAB DLL
