Your music and pictures should still be in the old profile, unless
you've got a virus, but that's another issue. Do a search for a file
you know you had to help locate them. What you need to do is:

1) Create a new account (you've already done this)
2) Logon to that account to create and initialize the profile
3) Logon to an admin account that isn't the account being copied to or
from
4) Open the System control panel
5) Click the Advanced tab
6) Click Settings under User Profiles
7) Select a profile to copy from [your old profile]
8) Click Copy To
9) Type or browse to the profile to copy to (C:\Documents and Setting
\user)

(credit and thanks to Ramesh for this info)

You may need to take ownership of your old files after the copy. Look in
XP's Help & Support for "take ownership".
