problem with My Picture folder and Desktop properties

My computer has started putting EVERY picture I have in the My Pictuer folder
automatically into the desktop properties (the place where you go to change
your desktop picture) I don't know why it started doing this and I don't know
how to stop it, or how to delete the pictures out of the desktop property
area. It will go away when I delete everything out of the My Picture folder.
Please anyone, HELP!!!

I don't know why this should have suddenly happened, but it is easily
remedied. Make a new folder and call it whatever you want. Put it in My
Documents, but no My Pictures. Now move your pictures into the new
folder.
