"Desktop Display Properties" shows jpegs in "My Pictures" folder..

Just yesterday I decided to change the wallpaper on my desktop and noticed
that the list of available jpegs shown in "Desktop Display Properties"
included not only images from "C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper", but also ALL the
jpegs in "My Pictures" folder... (I don't want this).

Is there a way to correct this so that "Desktop Display Properties" looks
only into the "C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper" folder for images?

TIA for any suggestions!

It's unfortunate but the only way I know of to prevent this behavior is to move
files from the My Pictures folder and its subfolders to a different location on
your hard drive.

Take a look at this article for more info.

You're right; moving my jpegs from the "My Pictures" folder just to stop
those same images from being displayed in the "Desktop Display Properties"
list is "unfortunate". I don't mind using the "Browse" button to navigate to
different folders in search of jpges for the desktop, just don't want all the
images in "My Pictures" clogging up the Display Properties list.

Oddly enough, this unwanted behavior is only recent (until yesterday, never
used to do this)...
