How can I have windows ask for the Domain in the logon screen in windows xp
home edition?

Hi,

WindowsXP Home cannot logon to a domain. You must have the Pro version to
logon to a domain.

To the OP: As Rick Rogers has told you, XP Home cannot join a domain.
