getting rid of logon screen

For some reason starting today, if I leave the computer and come back to it
after a while, the logon/user screen comes up when the mouse is touched and
the screen comes back on. How do I get rid of this? Thanks!

Control Panel | Display | Screen Saver Tab. Uncheck: On resume, display
Welcome screen.
