Hi,

I can use some advice. I was playing around with my home network and I
decided to add my work laptop to my home network. Therefore i went into
system and then computer name change clicked on change and added workgroup. I
left everything else untouched... It asked me for username and pwd, did it,
then i rebooted. Now I can't lof on to my laptop it won't give me a domain
name, and won't accept any username and pwd i put . IS there anyway I can
restore my system without havign to log on? This is my work laptop and I have
to restore it.

ANy advice?

I have tried that, but it won't take me back to my office network log on
screen.. just normal log on with usrname and pwd...

I guess because i have tried every method to log back on... Last Known good
Configuration is not working for me.

Based on another thread, I have to wait till I log on the office network to
re establish my work domain. By adding my workgroup for my home network by
accident this deletes my work domain, and since my laptop does not to have a
local log in. I am not able to establish a connection... I had a feeling this
was the way I may be able to fix the situation; I was just hoping to get
around it.

I will just have to wait until I am back in my office.

Thanks everyone.

Every machine has a 'local log in' but you may not know it. When you try
to connect at work, if you have a Domain, you will probably not be able
to connect to the Domain. The administrators will have to rejoin the
machine to the Domain.

Cheers,

Cliff
