Domain / Workgroup change - I messed up .. HELP!

i took my compay laptop that's on a domain, and thinking i could connect it
to my internal workgroup network at home, and thus use my home-computer's
printer, i changed its network setting to a workgroup. i rebooted, but
cannot log in (winXP). since i can't even log in, i can't change the
computer back to the domain. i essentially locked myself out of my laptop.

safe mode doesn't work - it still prompts me to log in, with my username
and password, but still won't log me in and let me change this mistake back.

please help!

By changing the computer from the domain to a workgroup, you have
destroyed the trust between the domain and the machine. In doing so,
you have also rendered your domain login credentials as invalid. You
need to be physically connected to the domain network, you need to have
administrative privileges to the workstation, and you need to have
administrative privileges on the domain. Then you can add the machine
back on to the domain, after having first deleted the computer's old
domain account (unless you've also renamed the computer).
