Windows login stop

I started having problem tonight when I try login with my
user name and password. It start loading my user profile
and the setting then stops and save my setting and goes
back to the Welcome login menu. I try login in using my
son's login it does the same thing. I try booting in
safe mode and it does the samething. I have the last
Norton Antivirus update. Have not gone to Windows XP SR2
yet. There were no change or add before this happened.
Any suggestions?
