My mother just got a new computer - she's still on my Windows Live
Messenger, but hasn't installed it yet on her computer - and doesn't
remember her password. What's the easiest way to get her account
working again?

From your system, just before she clicks Sign On, click on "Forgot your
password?". Answer the questions and it'll be emailed.

I presume you mean from her system.

It will work from any system that has access to the email account that
was used to sign up.

If she doesn't remember her password to that email account, then it's
time for her to get a new one and sign up again.

Maybe so. I haven't been able to find it, possibly because I don't
sign on, it signs on for me. I thought that was what everybody did.
