windows installer

everytime I start the computer, windows installer pops up and won't go away
unless i perform end task.....

how can i stop this pop up?

Further, can i completely reinstall xp w/o a startup disc? I cannot access
the recovery partition that is supposed to be on my computer.....

Hi Deb,
You cann't install windows without an Installation n media CD.
What make/model your Computer?
