Windows Installer

For awhile I had automatic updates setting but I began getting this "Windows
Installer" box popping up everytime I started my computer or opened the
internet or even clicking on our office network system. I unclicked the
automatic updates box but I'm still getting this Windows Installer box and
then a lengthy delay before the next window will open up. It does it every
single time and it's like whatever it thinks it has to install, never stays,
it always has to reinstall something???

I reported the same problem, and also received no response. My guess is
the problem was caused by some MS update.

I did a system restore to a date before the problem began, because I also
thought it might have been caused by something that had been loaded at one
point, but it didn't clear it up. Did yours ever get resolved?
