Whenever I'm in view of my desktop and I attempt to copy a
file from one place to another (I do a lot of that),
Windows Installer attempts to reinstall my working copy of
Roxio Easy Media Creator 7. There are always two attempts
in succession and often there are three. It also occurs
whenever I boot the computer. It occurs randomly at other
times. I updated Norton antivirus and ran a computer scan.
Nothing. I ran Spybot and Ad-Aware . . . nothing. Then a
few minutes ago on a Dell forum, I saw a post by a guy who
seems to be having identical symptoms, except his occur in
Internet Explorer, and a different program is trying to be
installed. He says his occurs twice in a row too. Seems
we have a very similar problem in the way it's behaving.
Has anyone out there had this experience? Anyone know why
it's occurring?
