Windows Installer Problem

Running WinXP SP3 Media Center 2005

Started two (2) days ago at each start up of Windows, the Windows Installer
window pops up and attempts to install "Sonic Activation Module".

I do 'not' have the Sonic (whatever that is on this machine} nor would I
want it if they employ such a 'NAG' at each and every start up.

It requires a total of (7) seven clicks on "Cancel 'and' (7) clicks on the X
(close) button for a total of (14) mouse clicks to get to the desktop.

A Search for Sonic and Sonic Module on the Primary drive 'C' came up
nothing.

A search thru the Registry using regedit then 'Find' with the word Sonic and
then 'sonic Module' came up blank.

Hoe can I stop Window Installer from this nonsense?

Thanks to anyone or all who might reply.
