Although I uninstalled a program using the Programs and Features cpl.
The item still shows up in a third party's uninstall manager's list, no name
just the icon and other information. The item does not show up in the
Programs and Feature's Uninstall or change a program.
This might not seem like a big deal to most but this is driving me crazy.
The uninstalled program is Quicken 2008 and the third party cleaner is
System Tuneup.
When I select Uninstall from within System Tuneup I get an internal error
which is generated by Quicken. When I attrempt to simply remove the
item System Tuneup tells me it's a Windows installer entry and cannot be
removed.
I haven't contacted System Tuneup tech support yet, I thought I'd try here
first.
