Uninstall Suggestions?

I have installed Quicken 2007 to my new PC with Vista. I did a traditional
install only to discover that it requires install with administrative rights
(got instructions from the Quicken site).

After discovering my error, I tried unsuccessfully to unstall the program so
I can reload it correctly. I have tried several things:
* traditional uninstall in the control panel
* restoring the system (3 times to 3 different segments)
* turning off the user account control (and trying both traditional and sys
restore)

I am looking for other solutions. Help if you can.

Just get yourself free
Boot from a *nix, Jix
You don't need to discuss much

At this point disk gives option of modifying, repairing & removing. All
result in error message that the install was interrupted.

Hi,

From this web site....
http://ntcompatible.com/Quicken_2007_c12787.html
I know you said you cannot Uninstall, so just run the Windows Installer
CleanUp Utility.

Now boot the system and re-install 2007. DO NOT ACCEPT THE "LATEST UPDATE"
offering. 2007 will install and you can use it. The R4 patch applied by
"latest update" doesn't work with Vista Ultimate.

Read the entry above about security corruption in the \users folder and how
to avoid it.<<<<

You may also want to read some of the post there, very interesting. For the
MS Cleanup Utility go here.....
