Windows Installer disable

Every time I boot up the Windows Installer trys to run and I have to keep
cancelling and it finally after a few times, goes away. How do I disable it?
I'll run it when I want to.
 
Oh it works!! I don't have to sit here and cancel, cancel, cancel anymore.
When I re-booted it gave me a warning that the config files had been changed
and that's ok. Thank you!

You don't disable the Windows Installer to solve your problem, try this
Microsoft Utility to fix the Windows Installer from starting every boot.
