Did you remove "Photo Gallery" using the Windows Installer Cleanup
utility?

installation. How can I determine the cause of the on-demand
installation?"

You can then remove the installer information of the application (Photo
Gallery) using Windows Installer Cleanup utility.

I was not able to determine an action to take for your response. I did
run
the MS installer clean up utility suggested by the previous reply and that
did not help. any specific suggestions. I am not a highly technical

Windows® XP Troubleshooting
http://www.winhelponline.com
every time I turn on my PC (running XP professional), windows installer
trys
to install a program called Photo Gallery. it ties up my PC for 15-20
minutes if I don't cancel it out 3 times immedialtely after the message
comes
on the screen. It eventually after 20 minutes or so asks for the Photo
Gallery disk. I do not have a Photo Gallery disk. I can not find Photo
Gallery on my PC to delete it. this is very annoying and time consuming
for
me. any suggestions to get it to stop this will be much appreciated.
Thank
you!
