windows installation

I have installed my xp and activated it before. however,
a system crash forced me to reformat my hard disk and
reinstall the softwares again. Now, when I activated
windows over the internet, I received a message telling
me that I need to purchase a new key. I only have one
computer and need only one key. What should I do now?

Select the option to activate by phone. You get a one time option to
reactivate. The number you call is an automated service that will walk you
through all the steps.
