Everytime I log off of my computer the windows firewall gets turned off.I am
able to enable it again when I log back on. I have run Norton, ad a ware,
and spy bot but they have found nothing.

Hi,

Are you using Norton's firewall? If so, then the Windows firewall would be
disabled intentionally to avoid conflicts.

hi! may be you have inadvertantly checked or unchecked a certain box under
network connections./internet connection firewall (icf) see that that box is
checked! Right click dial up icon/properties/advanced. or go to fw setting
options and see if everything is set how you want it!

I tried turning the norton firewall off but that did not help. I had to
compleatly disable the norton internet security to fix my issue with the
windows firewall turring off

Hi Mike,

You can't use both, choose one and stick with it.
