Automatic generation of backup files occur when selecting
multiple files using the Ctrl (key) and the left mouse
button. I do not need extra copies. I am tring to sort
out hundreds of jpg files and this is driving me nuts.
How do I disable this infuriating finction.
 
Ctrl + Drag is copy. Therefore you are not clicking but dragging. Be more careful.
