Windows explorer

I have a user with a problem!
I am a trainee IT Technician so i want to do this without
asking my boss to make me look good!!!!!
The user can't view "my computer" when in explorer. he
gets kicked out. He can view all of " my computer" when he
clicks on the icon.
The user want's to be able to view "my comuter" when in
explorer as its easier to use
