Hi,
I installed the subject plugin successfully but I did not get the
expected results.
I do not see thumbnails from .NEF files nor do I see the Raw Image
Viewer Toolbar mentioned in the document.
This is the URL of the plugin
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8e-b10d-4ce4-a141-5866fd4a3286&displaylang=en
Does anyone have a suggestion for me?
Thanks

The inability to support certain Nikon RAW
files is due to the SDK for said file format
being released later than the viewer.

You may have better success with the following
freebie:

FastStone Image Viewer

Yes , It did work!
The Nikon (D80) that produced the photos was NOT in the supported list for
the Explorer plugin.
I wonder if I can remove the explorer plugin or if it is even necessary
Thank you so much, John

You're welcome...thanks for the feedback.

I'm thinking you should be able to uninstall the
RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer from
Add-Remove Programs.

Or...if you created a System Restore point prior to
the install you could revert to that.

Unless you need the hard drive space or just
do not want unnecessary programs installed on
your system I can see no compelling reason to
uninstall it.
