Error 1905 installing program

I have recently attempted to install the Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and
Viewer for Windows XP
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8e-b10d-4ce4-a141-5866fd4a3286&DisplayLang=en)

When doing so, thought, I get an error 1905 towards the end of the
installing process. The accompanying message contains the information that
"CrxRawHandler.dll failed to register" and "HRESULT -2147220472"

Any idea what this is and how I can sort it out?
