Hi,

Is there in way in Windows XP Professional SP2 to set a program so that it
always runs in a specified priority?

Task manager > right click on process > set priority
Never used it myself - pry have to set it after each boot.

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to answer. Unfortunately, though, I have tried
that and, yes you do have to set it each time - which is a bind. I tired to
install a program called Priority Saver at
http://www.prnwatch.com/prio.html.

This looked premising as it did just what I wanted but upon rebooting after
install I got a BSOD.

The ability to change priority for programs (Excluding Windows Programs of
course) might have been a good addition to Vista - but it looks as though
that ship might have sailed. :(
