Windows Explorer problem

hi,
anytime i logon to windows on my laptop, i have a blank desktop and an
error notice:
'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience'
the error signature reads:

AppName: explorer.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180
ModName: sgcres91.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0
Offset: 0003d005

pls what can i do to have my desktop back.

If sgcres91.dll is spelled correctly...

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Do the same for whatever anti-spyware applications that you have.
