WINDOWS EXPLORER OPENS TO PROGRAM

I am using Windows XP Professional.
Every times Windows starts and I log in; Windows Explorer
now opens automatically
All I do is login and up pops PROGRAM in Windows
Explorer. Does anyone know how to stop this?
PLS HELP THIS IS VERY BORRING
I can't find anything in the knowledge base. It is a
nuisance.

if i understand what your problem is, try going to windows explorer, tools
menu, folder options, view tab, scroll down the advanced settings and see if
'restore previous folder windows at logon' is checked... if it is, uncheck
it, apply, ok, close it down and see if that fixes your problem.

Take a look in your Start Up folder to see if there is anything there that
opens the Program. Then click on Start....Run....type msconfig and hit
enter. Click on the StartUp tab at the top and uncheck that program if it
is present with a checkmark in the box before it.
