Windows Explorer opening files

Hi,

When I open files using the application, they open quickly...so if I open
word and then click file open...my files opens as normal...network share or
local.
When I open Windows Explorer and double click on any file whether it be on a
network share or my desktop it takes 1 minute for the file to open.
I have recently migrated this workstation from an old domain to a new
domain...when I turn on the old domain then Windows Explorer is fine...how do
I find out what is still connected to the old domain that is causing delays
with Windows Explorer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Is this ONLY Office applications and if so ONLY Excel and Word?

Thanks for the reply, this is for all applications, it takes at least one
minute to open any file through Windows Explorer..

That certainly sounds like it still thinks it is attached to the old
server. Have you tried removing it from the old domain and adding it to
the new? Also are there printers on the old domain still installed?
