Windows Explorer is unstable - keeps shutting down

I use Windows Xp Pro, and lately the Windows Explorer will
show an error for reporting to Microsoft, and after
completing the report, It shuts down the Explorer. I have
to re-open the Explorer over and over agin to use it.
