windows explorer freezes

Hello,

I recently bought an Acer Aspire an no problems with it until a couple of
days ago. Now, when I open Windows Explorer (or my computer just the same)
and browse to the D-drive, the window freezes. Only ctrl-alt-del helps. No
problems browsing the C-drive.
After using the computer for a while (15-30 minutes) I may get access to the
D-drive through Windows Explorer.
As a workaround I can manage my files via the openfile-dialogs in one of the
applications. No problems there.

Someone has an idea as to where I can start looking for the cause of this
problem.

Tx, Bart
