windows explorer crashing...

every time i try to open a folder, i get an error message saying that windows
explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. then i cannot open
folders. anyone know what to do?

Hi,

In the error-reporting dialog, see if you're able to note down the Module name which caused the error. Secondly, Application event Log might give a clue. Type eventvwr.msc in Start/Run dialog.

I am having the same problem that you responded to. I have checked the
event log and have come up with 4 event numbers repeated for the same fault.
They are 100, 101, 102, and 103. Everything seems to work except the Windows
explorer . I do not use the Internet Explorer.
