When ever I am trying to look at my pics, or copy or save any pics windows
explorer crashes on me after a few clicks to down to my pics folders and it
closed out Internet Explorer if I am in that trying to save a pic or Yahoo
messenger if I am trying to save or send a pic... I get about 3 clicks or
down 3 differnt folders and windows closed all of the programs !!! Do I
need to reinstall windows xp again ?, It first did it when i was saving a
pic, since just crashes all the time. I have ran nortons anti virus,
spysweeper, and aol security programs to see if a virus of some sort.. and
none. Do I need a registry cleaner ? or just reinstall XP again ? Thanks.

At least tell us a little more.
1. I would delete the temporary file. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools
and Internet options. Middle of the window there is a Delete files button.
Click on it. It will also open a smaller window to with the option to delete
off line file, check the box.
2. How much RAM memory do you have? It should be a number like 128, 256, 512
or 1024 MB.
3. Is this an older computer upgraded to XP or a newer computer purchased
with XP already installed. If it is an older computer upgraded to XP, I
would check that you have the latest software installed for your video card.

Do you happen to have Adobe PhotoShop or
Elements installed?

If you do...right click on a .jpg file and choose
Properties. Click the Photoshop Image tab
and uncheck the "Generate Thumbnails" button,
then click OK.

Its WINDOWS EXPLORER NOT INTERNET EXPLORER !!!! Though it does affect
that program too ! read what wrote... ya know Where you can view the
file structure and folders and the little windows that come up when you try
to save a pic... those all deal with Windows Explorer Not Internet
explorer

Read what I wrote ! Its Windows Explorer not Internet Explorer there is
a difference ! and do you see I say its XP !! The only thing it has to
do with Internet explorer is that it shuts down too when trying to save a pic
in the little window (windows explorer) that shows what files you want to
save it in..... i click on a couple files there and it all closes out !!

Its a Toshiba Satallite with 512 k ram about 2 yrs old.and has all the
windows upgrades ...

Yes, I understand it is Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer. What I am
trying to tell you is to delete the temporary files for both. Did you try
it?
