Windows Explorer Crash - Help?

I have a large avi file (some 600MB) in a subdirectory by itself.
Every time I go to it, using XP Windows Explorer, I get an error
window. I tried moving the subdirectory elsewhere and get the same
error. For a test, I copied the avi file to another machine, and
there is no problem there.

What could cause this?

Anyone?

Common reason is thumnails are turned on and something got corrupted.
Try switching to a different view for that sub-directory.
