Explorer: Duration, Frame Rate.... not shown?

I added some video-specific columns to my Explorer window, but
they are not populated.

The info seems tb there bc the props dialog for a given .AVI file
shows said info. viz: http://tinyurl.com/7y6wkh3

Can anybody venture a guess as to why the columns are empty?

You apparently do a lot of texting.

That one zipped right over my head.

FWIW, I *never* text.... got it turned off on my cellphone
account and don't even know how to do it on my PC...

Hmm, ok, so where'd you pick up all the silly abbreviations, if you
don't mind me asking? That's usually a sign of a heavy texter.

What is a texter?

Teenagers can send about fifty of them while sitting in
grade school, when they're supposed to be listening to
their teachers. And they can run up a huge bill for it
as well (not good when out of country).

Texters are so bad, I nearly ran one over the other day. Dude walks on
a diagonal across a street, with head down, staring intently into
phone, pudgy little thumbs working the buttons, and completely oblivious
to the traffic around him. I can imagine him lying in the bushes,
50 feet from the street, pudgy thumbs still twitching, gaze
still fixed on glowing screen... :) He'd never know what hit him.

My granddaughter says that the kids she knows can text blind -
i.e. with the phone in their lap/pocket and not even looking at
the keypad.

Didn't ask how that plays out for reading the replies.... but
that's what she says.

bc? bco? sb? shb?.... Dunno. I thought they were in
common use.

Thanks. :) ("common use" made me laugh.) It's fine, of course. I was
just curious.

Per J. P. Gilliver (John):
. (Lack of capitalisation has found its way into email and I can see capitalisation perhaps disappearing altogether in the next
half century.

Maybe that explains one of the bond traders that I serve:
suddenly, last year, he got on this kick of typing everything in
lower case and got faux-irritated when somebody would type mixed
case when troubleshooting his PC.
