Windows Explorer close

Once in a while, I receive the following error message : "Windows Explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close> We are sorry for the
inconvenience."
Then I see only the message and the empty desktop then everything comes back
normal.
In Event viewer, I get this error message (event ID 1000):
"Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module
unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00ee14fd."
Can you help ?

Did you follow the links to "help & support" when in the event viewer - if
not do so - you may see the following explanation

Explanation
The indicated program stopped unexpectedly. The message contains details on
which program and module stopped. A matching event with Event ID 1001 might
also appear in the event log. This matching event displays information about
the specific error that occurred.
------------------
Therefore have a look at the corresponding even 1001 and see what is
detailed - this may give us a clues as to which program is crashing.
This event happens to me every now and then as well and I have a well "oiled
and greased" system. But if it is happening with regularity with one
particular application then let us know - viewer past history in the event
viewer and see if it is the same application,

The event ID 1001 is "Fault bucket 183051521".
It happens often but I don't think it happens when I start a specific
application.

Hi,
Did you follow the link to "help and support" as I suggested? These errors
are kept in a data base at microsoft and may reviel your problem. After you
have done this I will explain what a fault buck is.

It said the following :

Then I saw the related knowledge base articles and it didn't match my setup.
The problem is that I don't like to have this problem every day, that's why
I came to this newsgroup.
