Windows Explorer annoyances

After I resize the Windows Explorer and exit, at the next
start i will get back the original size, not my setting.
Why is that?
Secondly, sometimes (randomly) Windows Explorer "forget"
the View settings for certain folders. I`ve set up the
same view options for all folders and applied it to all
folders...

Any ideas?

settings aren't retained any longer. You can change this to 8000 by adding
this edit to the registry.

Run this edit, then reset your preferred folder options:

Hi

After you have resized the Window, close it by holding down the Ctrl key and
clicking on the X in the top right hand corner.

View settings are limited to 400. Try the following link to increase those
settings to 8000:
