I just got a new puter that has XP Pro on it, my old one also had the same.
I always put a shortcut to Windows Explorer on my desktop but now I can not
even find it on the hard drive. Also I had the old one set up for single
clicks and can't find where that is on the new one. How can the same
programs be so different. I have changed to the classic view.
thanks

Windows Explorer should be in Start>Programs. Right click and Send to
Desktop (create shortcut).

To enable single click for the mouse: Control Panel>Folder
Options>General.

Bruce the single click part worked but Windows Explorer is not listed under
programs.

Windows Explorer should be in Start>Programs. Right click and Send to
Desktop (create shortcut).

Left part of it out. Start>Programs>Accessories. Windows Explorer is
there.
