Windows Error Kernel32.dll

Ok, the game is a relatively old game, and I haven't been able to find any
patches for it (mostly because every time I search I end up with loads of
Deus Ex results rather than the ones I am looking for). The game is called
Deus. It is a Windows 95 game.

Here is the error message:
"Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point FT_Thunk could not be
located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll. "

I've tried the MSKB for FT_Thunk and google and couldn't find very much,
nothing that helped me solve the problem anyway. I've tried compatibility
mode, I;ve tried Qfixapp in order to add some of the extra compatability
options, but I just can't seem to get it working. Maybe its just that I
don't know which compatibility options I should be looking for..but none of
the default ones work!

I'm assuming something has been changed by Microsoft in terms of FT_Thunk
function in kernel32.dll from win 95/98 to Win2k/XP. I was just wondering if
any of you either knew of a fix for this game, or knew of a fix to get it
working in Windows XP, perhaps extra compatibility options. I'm just
determined to get it running in XP. I do dual boot with Windows 98 SE, but I
still want to get the game working in WinXP. because I tend to spend more
time in Windows XP (on that machine), preferably without resorting to
loading up VMWare of Connectix/Microsoft Virtual PC.

The PC is running on Windows XP Pro SP1.
Any solutions?

I can play the dos version but only when I use DOSBox..which I don't
particularly want to because even with the clocking it is far too slow, so
I'd rather go for the Windows version...if it is indeed possible
