Windows does not see CD drive

[Mr Fizz]

Windows doesn't see the CD Rom drive,
The drive does work , it has power and all the connecters
have good connections.
If you put in a CD it will not bring it up ,
(can't see it in Windows explorer)

Any clues ? TIA
