Just reinstalled WD, the first page to show says Windows Defender Definitions
haven't been updated in 24 days, having clicked to check it saying no update
definitions found, but when i restart my computer and open WD the messags is
still saying haven't been updated in 24 days, is this an error

Are you on a network where security-related updates are centrally managed?
If so, see the message with WSUS in the subject header and yesterday's date
in this group and .networking.
